A PASTRY chef has created a marzipan replica of a Warwickshire country house to celebrate winning a catering contract.
Replica HandbagsJohn Berry is part of The NEC Group catering team Amadeus, which has been chosen as sole caterer for Compton Verney.
He took 30 hours creating the sculpture, which is now on display in the foyer of the 18th century mansion house, which is used as an art gallery. John, who has worked for the company for 30 years, will be part of the team providing day-to-day catering at the venue as well as high-end banqueting.
He has previously made sugary sculptures of ancient gods and warriors as well as a statuette of Indiana Jones.
Amadeus general manager Jayne Devlin, said she was delighted the company had won the Coach Replica Bags catering contract..
